Job Description:

As a Social Media Specialist at Royva, your primary responsibility will be to manage and grow our presence on Instagram and TikTok. Your role will involve creating engaging content, developing a consistent posting schedule, and implementing strategies to increase brand visibility, engagement, and conversions on Instagram. You will be an integral part of our marketing team and will work closely with other departments to ensure a cohesive and impactful social media presence.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Email Marketing and Updates
  • Write and post SEO oriented blog articles
  • Content Creation: Develop and curate visually appealing and compelling content for Instagram, including graphics, photos, videos, and captions that align with our brand identity and target audience.
  • Posting Schedule: Plan and schedule daily Instagram posts ensuring a consistent presence on the platform. Strategically determine the optimal timing for posts to maximize engagement and reach.
  • Engagement and Community Management: Monitor and respond to comments, direct messages, and mentions on Instagram. Engage with followers, answer inquiries, and foster meaningful connections with our audience.
  • Hashtag Research: Conduct regular research to identify relevant and trending hashtags within the industry. Utilize these hashtags strategically in captions and comments to increase discoverability and engagement.
  • Strategic Partnership Outreach: Identify and outreach to potential brand partners, influencers, and event planners to build relationships in the industry and build brand awareness.

Weekly Responsibilities:

  • Story Planning: Develop a weekly schedule for Instagram Stories, including behind-the-scenes footage, highlights, venue spotlights, user-generated content, and interactive elements to drive engagement and maintain interest.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Track key metrics such as follower growth, engagement rates, reach, and conversions. Analyze data to gain insights into content performance and adjust strategies accordingly. Prepare weekly reports summarizing key findings and recommendations.
  • Influencer Collaboration: Identify potential influencers or industry partners for collaborations, takeovers, or shout-outs on Instagram. Coordinate and execute these collaborations to expand our reach and attract new followers and direct them to bookings.

Monthly Responsibilities:

  • Content Calendar: Create a monthly content calendar outlining planned posts, events, promotions, and campaigns. Coordinate with the marketing team to align social media efforts with overall marketing initiatives.

  • Campaign Management: Conceptualize and execute Instagram-specific campaigns to drive user engagement, generate leads, and promote our vendor booking platform. Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure campaign integration across different channels.
  • Trend Analysis: Stay updated on the latest trends, features, and updates within the social media and the industry. Implement innovative ideas and strategies to keep our Instagram presence fresh, relevant, and competitive.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience managing social media platforms, with a strong focus on Instagram.
  • Excellent knowledge of Instagram best practices, algorithms, and features.
  • Proficiency in creating compelling visual content using graphic design tools, photo editing software, and video editing applications.
  • Strong understanding of social media analytics and tracking tools to measure performance and gain insights.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to write engaging and concise captions.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest social media trends and industry developments.
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
