We are currently seeking a creative and detail-oriented Web Copywriter who can produce high-quality content focused on technology and software. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technical writing, a strong understanding of SEO best practices, experience in brand messaging, and the ability to convey complex software concepts in an accessible manner. Your expertise will help us create compelling, engaging, informative, and SEO-friendly content for digital platforms.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Create, edit, and proofread engaging content for our clients websites, blogs, social media, and other digital platforms, focusing (at least initially) on technology and software topics.
  • Conduct thorough research on complex software and technology-related topics to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
  • Craft messaging foundations for our clients, based on yours and our research into the company, competitors, industry, and your messaging experience. These documents will form the foundations of the copy created, and must be applied effectively throughout the content.
  • Develop clear and compelling messaging that communicates the value and benefits of the software products and services.
  • Optimise content using SEO best practices to improve search engine rankings and drive traffic.
  • Ensure all content aligns with the brand voice, style, and tone.
  • Assist with content-related projects, such as email campaigns, newsletters, and landing pages.
  • Perform additional tasks as needed to support all departments.

What you bring to the table:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in copywriting and a diverse portfolio of compelling written content from various marketing channels within technology and software industries.
  • Experience creating messaging, taglines, values, content pillars, and other relevant frameworks for companies.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Experience in web content writing (blog posts, landing pages, and the like).
  • Ability to conduct thorough research on complex software and technology topics and present information in a clear, concise manner.
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress.
  • Experience with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) is a plus.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in a digital agency setting is a major plus.
  • The ability to work remotely and independently.
