Role Overview
As the Marketing Strategist & Copywriter, you will play a dual role, combining high-level content strategy with expert copywriting. You’ll create and oversee content that resonates with our industrial clients’ audiences while aligning closely with each client’s business objectives. Working collaboratively with our Account Managers, design team, and other copywriters, you’ll drive content planning, creation, and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive content strategies for clients, including monthly content calendars, key messaging, and campaign concepts for LinkedIn, email newsletters, and blogs.
- Lead content ideation sessions, collaborating with Account Managers to ensure client goals are fully represented in content plans.
- Write high-quality, engaging, and strategically sound copy tailored to the unique needs of each client.
- Review and refine content produced by junior copywriters, providing guidance to ensure quality, consistency, and alignment with strategy.
- Conduct industry research to inform content direction, incorporating trends, pain points, and client positioning into content themes.
- Work closely with the design team to ensure graphics align with messaging and add value to each content piece.
- Utilise project management tools (e.g., ClickUp) and content scheduling systems effectively.
- Leverage AI tools as needed to streamline ideation and planning, enhancing efficiency without compromising quality.
Required Experience & Skills
- 5+ years of copywriting experience with a strong strategic background, ideally within B2B or industrial sectors.
- Proven experience developing and executing content strategies, including content calendars and campaign concepts that drive measurable results.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to adapt style and tone across platforms (LinkedIn, email, blogs, and more).
- Experience coaching or mentoring junior copywriters to improve their skills and align with strategic goals.
- Proficiency with project management and content scheduling tools (e.g., ClickUp, social scheduling tools).
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines consistently, and contribute ideas to enhance content strategy and client engagement.
- Strong understanding of AI tools in content planning, with the ability to refine outputs for high-quality copy.
Working Environment
