The Role
You’ll be responsible for:
- Creating SEO-optimised content that works for search engines and readers (both longer-form articles and category pages)
- Working from specs to improve content so it ranks better.
- Improving content from a CRO perspective.
- A blend of new content and optimising existing pieces.
What does success look like in 90 days?
- Can be trusted to execute up to 30k words per month with minimal editing at the company’s required standard.
- Can work on specific requirements docs to improve content.
- Can see multiple tangible results of improved rankings for the content they have optimised (using KPI of rankings)
The Person
- Experience (two years minimum) in creating SEO content that delivers results.
- E-commerce experience will give you brownie points but it’s not essential (it could be tech, travel, etc.). The key is that you can show results.
- Able to output high volumes of SEO content (we need a doer, not a strategist)
- You have very good writing skills, so they can make pages engage the reader.
