Job Title: Senior Business Development Manager/Director of Sales
Schedule: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST, Monday to Friday
Job Type: Full-Time, Remote
Salary: $2,000 – $3,000 monthly with commission (salary based on assessment)
Company Overview
We are a 25 year old logistics business that is under new ownership and is a fast-growing courier service company specializing in same-day and express point-to-point courier services for manufacturing, medical, and professional sectors. We are focused on building our company by creating a strong cold outbound B2B infrastructure and developing a high-performance sales team.
Role Overview
We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Director of Sales to lead our sales operations and accelerate revenue growth. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of scaling revenues in a high-growth environment, experience with building outbound sales systems from scratch, and expertise in building and managing sales teams. This role requires hands-on execution in refining the sales process, hiring A-player sales associates, and expanding business relationships.
Responsibilities
- Build and refine the sales process in HubSpot and ensure CRM accuracy.
- Conduct cold-calling and cold-emailing outreach for the first three months to test data quality and refine outbound strategies.
- Develop and manage a structured outbound lead generation campaign, iterating as often as needed.
- Work with the Driver Manager to develop proposals, request quotes, and negotiate service terms with customers.
Results
- Expand scheduled delivery routes and establish strong relationships within banking, professional services, medical, and manufacturing industries.
- Develop KPI’s for cold outreach (what metrics matter most to us).
- Hire and train four A-player sales associates (two setters, two closers) within the first six months.
- Ensure all sales activities and client interactions are properly documented in CRM.
Requirements
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to execute strategies in a fast-paced environment.
- 3+ years of sales leadership experience with a track record of scaling B2B revenue and securing contracts of $50K+ in Annual Contract Value.
- Hands-on experience in outbound sales strategies, including cold calling and cold emailing.
- HubSpot CRM expertise and proficiency with leading sales tools.
- Strong organizational skills to maintain a structured and transparent sales pipeline.
- Demonstrated success in recruiting, training, and managing high-performance sales teams.
- Background in logistics and delivery services is a plus but not required.
