Job Description: Sales Representative (GameDev Niche)

We are a leading creative agency with a foundation in game art outsourcing, built over 8 years of expertise in concept art, 2D and 3D asset design, animations, UI/UX, promo materials, and more. Though our roots remain in game art, we’ve expanded into providing comprehensive visual solutions for game developers and gamified products. We cater to clients ranging from large studios to indie developers and hobbyists.
Position: Sales Representative (GameDev Niche)
Location: Remote (Flexible Hours)
Compensation: Base salary + 10% commission on new contracts, with performance-based bonuses.
Role Overview
We are looking for a driven and passionate Sales Representative to help skyrocket our revenue in the gamedev niche. As the first dedicated sales hire, you will play a crucial role in driving growth and establishing a sales department within our company. With no prior dedicated sales team, this is an opportunity to shape and scale our sales strategy while working closely with our founders.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales and revenue growth by identifying, pursuing, and closing contracts with new clients in the gamedev industry.
- Build and maintain relationships with game developers of all sizes (from AAA studios to indie developers) as well as other potential customers.
- Understand our diverse range of creative services (2D/3D art, animations, UI/UX, etc.) and tailor solutions to meet client needs.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to expand our client base, increase contract sizes, and grow our market presence.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients by understanding their game art and visual needs and helping them succeed with our services.
- Report directly to the company’s leadership, taking ownership of the entire sales process, from lead generation to closing deals.
- Collaborate closely with the leadership team to develop an internal achievement-based bonus system, setting milestones for sales success (e.g., closing the 10th contract, reaching specific revenue goals, etc.).
- Help establish a scalable sales team over time, with the potential to move into a VP of Sales or Chief Revenue Officer role.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the creative services, game development, or entertainment industries.
- Strong knowledge and passion for the gaming industry, with an understanding of game art production pipelines (concept art, 2D/3D assets, animations, UI, etc.).
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to close deals and maintain long-term partnerships.
- Self-motivated with a strong drive to meet and exceed targets.
- Experience working in remote and flexible work environments.
- Entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for growth and building something from the ground up.
