Description

Our client is an impact-driven fintech company with a mission to empower individuals to make informed decisions about their finances. They are seeking a Sales Development Representative. You will play a crucial role in driving top-of-funnel activity by booking and qualifying outbound meetings with high-level stakeholders. You will also be responsible for identifying pain points in customer employee financial wellbeing strategy, smoothly handing over qualified meetings to colleagues at the later stages of the sales funnel, and collaborating with wider teams, including leadership, marketing, and product, to provide prospect feedback to further refine the sales process.

This is a remote position open to those living anywhere in South Africa.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Booking and qualifying outbound meetings (BANT) with high-level stakeholders at companies looking to improve their employee wellbeing strategy.
  • Leveraging tools such as Hubspot, LinkedIn, Apollo, and Dripify to drive multi-channel prospecting campaigns (mix of calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach) into new accounts.
  • Effectively identifying pain points in customer employee financial wellbeing strategy.
  • Smoothly handing over qualified meetings to colleagues at the later stages of the sales funnel.
  • Collaborating with wider teams, including leadership, marketing, and product, to provide prospect feedback to further refine the sales process.
  • Maintaining good CRM hygiene for accurate management

Skills, Experience & Requirements

  • Proven experience in designing and executing B2B marketing strategies targeting SMEs and large corporate markets
  • Demonstrated success in building pipeline growth and increasing brand awareness, particularly within startup or scale-up environments
  • Expertise in developing high-quality thought leadership-driven content to drive demand generation
  • Strong proficiency in building multimedia sales enablement resources to support sales efforts
  • Experience in executing marketing initiatives
  • Exceptional communication skills , both verbal and written, with the ability to deliver presentations at a senior level
  • Excellent attention to detail and project management skills
  • Results-oriented mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making
  • Outstanding organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage stakeholders , and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive attitude with a continuous improvement mindset
