They are looking for a Recruitment Delivery Consultant to join their team. As a Recruitment Delivery Consultant, you will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and placing high-quality candidates into suitable roles within the shipping and maritime industry. The role requires strong relationship-building skills to support both candidates and clients effectively. The consultant will play a key role in delivering recruitment solutions that align with business growth objectives. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated and proactive individual with a strong background in recruitment and client management. They thrive in a target-driven environment, demonstrate excellent communication skills, and have the confidence to engage with senior-level professionals. This is a remote position open to those living anywhere in South Africa.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Identify, source, and engage with potential candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, referrals, and networking
- Screen and interview candidates to assess their suitability for roles, ensuring alignment with client requirements
- Match candidates to appropriate job opportunities and manage the recruitment process from initial contact to job offer and onboarding
- Provide guidance and support to candidates throughout the recruitment journey, ensuring a smooth experience
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their hiring needs and business goals
- Develop a strong talent pipeline to proactively meet client requirements
- Provide market insights and recruitment trends to clients, positioning yourself as a trusted recruitment partner
- Manage client and candidate expectations professionally, ensuring excellent service delivery
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate interactions using recruitment systems and tools
- Collaborate with the wider recruitment team to meet business goals and drive efficiency in the hiring process
- Identify opportunities for business growth by engaging with new and existing clients
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations throughout the recruitment process
- Successfully place high-quality candidates in appropriate roles
- Build a strong and diverse pipeline of talent to meet ongoing client demands
- Maintain high levels of client and candidate satisfaction through excellent communication and service
- Meet and exceed recruitment targets and performance metrics
- Contribute to the overall success and growth of the recruitment team
Skills, Experience & Requirements
- Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a history of delivering exceptional results
- Prior experience in recruitment with a proven track record of delivering successful placements
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Experience in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior-level candidates and stakeholders
- Experience in recruitment within oil & gas, maritime, or shipping industries is advantageous but not essential
- Independent, self-driven, and resilient mindset with a focus on achieving results
