Position Title: Project Manager
Company: Tech Guru – IT for Accounting Firms
Location: Remote

Job Mission:
The mission of the Project Manager at Tech Guru is to lead and manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Project Manager will be the primary point of contact for clients, providing clear communication, strategic planning, and exceptional problem-solving. By fostering a collaborative environment and leveraging their expertise, the Project Manager will drive successful project outcomes and enhance client satisfaction, contributing to the overall growth and reputation of Tech Guru.

Key Role Objectives:
Client Communication and Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, keeping them informed throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Communicate project expectations clearly and effectively to both internal teams and clients.

Project Planning and Implementation:

  • Lead project planning, defining project scope, goals, tasks, and resource requirements.
  • Create and manage project schedules, ensuring timely delivery of milestones.

Team Coordination and Leadership:

  • Assemble and coordinate project teams, providing direction and support.
  • Motivate and mentor team members to achieve project goals and maintain high performance.

Budget and Resource Management:

  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial efficiency.
  • Allocate resources effectively and manage vendor relationships.

Progress Tracking and Reporting:

  • Track project progress and deliverables, regularly reviewing plans and schedules.
  • Report project progress, present solutions to problems, and implement change orders as necessary.

Problem-Solving and Risk Management:

  • Identify and mitigate project risks through strong problem-solving skills.
  • Resolve project issues promptly, ensuring smooth project execution.

Organizational Change Management:

  • Assist with Organizational Change Management activities to support project implementation.
  • Ensure compliance with security and data privacy regulations and standards.

Travel and Additional Duties:

  • Travel within the United States twice a year for company events.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support Tech Guru’s mission and objectives.

About You:

  • Proven Track Record in Client Retention and Growth: Demonstrated success in retaining and growing client relationships, with a track record of achieving retention targets and driving revenue growth. Experience in the technology or SaaS industry is preferred.
  • Proactive Approach to Enhancing Client Delight: Proven ability to anticipate client needs, identify opportunities for enhancing client satisfaction, and proactively implement strategies to exceed client expectations.
  • Ownership of Client Experience: Strong ownership mentality and commitment to owning the client experience from end to end, ensuring that clients receive exceptional service and support at every touchpoint.
  • Strong Organizational and Project Management Skills: Exceptional organizational skills and strong project management skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Great Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving Abilities: Excellent critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations, think strategically, and identify creative solutions to address client challenges and opportunities.
  • Coaching Skills: Ability to coach and mentor clients to help them achieve their goals and maximize the value of our products and services. Experience in providing guidance, support, and encouragement to clients in their journey to success.
  • Passion for Technology: Genuine passion for technology and a strong aptitude for understanding and navigating technology platforms. Comfortable and proficient with using various software and tools to support clients and drive results.
  • Masterful at Running High-Impact Online Meetings: Proven ability to facilitate high-impact, efficient, and structured online meetings with clients. Skilled at engaging participants, driving discussion, and achieving desired outcomes.
  • Remote Work Proficiency: Experience and comfort with working remotely and managing one’s time effectively in a remote environment. Self-motivated, disciplined, and proactive in managing tasks and responsibilities.
  • High Degree of Accountability and Follow-Through: Strong sense of accountability and responsibility, with a commitment to delivering on promises and following through with every interaction and commitment made to clients.
