Our UK Based client is a specialist litigation funder based in London, UK, providing financial solutions for small to medium-sized law firms. Established in 2020, the company focuses on funding small-ticket ATE (After-the-Event) claims and their disbursements, allowing law firms to take on more cases and improve their chances of success. Since its inception, they have grown organically, funding over 13,000 cases while building strong partnerships with their clients. Their business model is designed to be simple, flexible, and fast, ensuring law firms receive quick funding decisions and tailored solutions. They are looking for a part-time personal assistant to join their team. As a Personal Assistant (PA) will provide both personal and professional administrative support to the CEO. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the CEO’s schedule, workload, and business activities. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, proactive, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities with discretion and efficiency.
This is a remote position open to those living anywhere in South Africa.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain and organise the CEO’s diary, scheduling meetings and appointments
- Ensure the CEO’s time is optimised by prioritising key commitments
- Arrange travel, accommodation, and logistics as required
- Maintain organised filing systems (both physical and digital)
- Draft, proofread, and manage documents, presentations, and reports
- Handle confidential business and personal correspondence
- Assist in HR administrative tasks such as onboarding documents and contracts
- Manage employee records and assist with HR-related queries
- Oversee office organisation and supplies if required
- Prepare agendas, take minutes, and distribute notes for meetings
- Follow up on action points and ensure deadlines are met
- Arrange documents for signature and ensure timely completion
- Manage ICO certificates and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
- Assist with tax return organisation and submission
- Track and manage business and personal expenses
- Process receipts, invoices, and reimbursements
- Organise corporate and personal events, including logistics and guest arrangements
- Monitor and respond to emails on behalf of the CEO
- Manage LinkedIn and other professional communications
Skills, Experience & Requirements
- Previous experience in a PA, Executive Assistant, or administrative role
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and other administrative tools
- Experience in HR administration or financial support
- Familiarity with expense management and compliance processes
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Takes initiative and works well with minimal supervision
- Ensures accuracy in administrative tasks and documentation
- Builds strong working relationships and communicates effectively
- Open to developing new skills and improving processes
