About the Role: We are seeking an Outbound Sales Representative to focus exclusively on cold-calling dental labs across the UK. The primary objective of this role is to book product demonstration meetings with potential customers for our sales team. You will be working from targeted prospect lists, reaching out to labs on the phone, and communicating the value of our products. The goal is to generate interest and secure follow-up meetings, creating opportunities for our team to close deals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cold-Calling Prospects: Reach out to dental labs from prepared prospect lists to introduce our company and its products, engaging decision-makers in meaningful conversations.
  • Booking Meetings: Secure appointments for our sales team to deliver product demonstrations (either online or in person).
  • Objection Handling: Respond to customer questions or concerns with confidence, using persuasive techniques to overcome objections and encourage engagement.
  • CRM Management: Log all call details, outcomes, and follow-up actions accurately in our CRM. Keep the prospect database updated for smooth handovers to the sales team.
  • Continuous Improvement: Provide feedback on customer questions and objections, helping refine the sales pitch and improve processes. Participate in training and role-play exercises to enhance skills.

The ideal candidate is someone with a confident phone manner who enjoys initiating conversations and thrives in cold-calling environments. You don’t need to be a technical expert but must be able to quickly convey the value of our products and handle objections effectively.   • Cold-Calling: Make approximately 350 calls per week, with the goal of booking a set number of successful product demos.
  • Organic Sales Approach: We’re looking for someone who doesn’t rely on a script. Instead, you should be able to engage prospects in a natural, conversational manner that feels organic and authentic.
  • Resilience & Confidence: Cold-calling can be challenging, but the ideal candidate will be resilient and driven to succeed despite objections or rejection.
  • Emotional Intelligence & Listening Skills: Approach each sales call like a conversation—ask thoughtful questions, listen actively, and respond with empathy to build rapport and trust.
  • Commission & Targets: Commission is earned based on mutually agreed-upon targets for successful demo bookings, with significant rewards for consistent performance.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: At least 1-2 years of outbound sales experience or relevant telemarketing experience, though a strong willingness to learn and a positive attitude may be enough for the right candidate.
  • Skills:
  • Confident phone manner and ability to quickly build rapport.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to explain concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Resilience in handling rejection, staying motivated, and working toward targets.
  • Strong organizational skills, able to track follow-ups and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to handle objections and turn initial interest into a booked meeting.
  • High level of emotional intelligence, able to read the conversation and adjust accordingly.
  • Goal-oriented and driven to hit booking and demo targets.
  • Other: Ability to work UK business hours (9 am – 5:30 pm GMT).
