The Operations Coordinator will be a part of a team whose goal it is to assist independent instructors for corporate clients (B2B). The post-holder will focus on teacher support, payment and seamless delivery of our teacher-led courses. Responsibilities:
  • Day to day support of teacher support inquiries, including providing direct responses to teachers and directing teacher trouble-shooting requests to other team members as appropriate.
  • Preparation for, and hosting of, voluntary engagement webinars for independent instructors to discuss matters relating to the classroom tools and functions.
  • Escalation of issues to Global Program Managers
  • Gathering feedback, frequent questions, and improvement suggestions to the overall teacher experience
  • Processing teacher invoices – make sure data is correct, issue payments and liaise with finance team
  • Purchasing and allocating teaching materials to teachers
  • Support the Operations teams with course management and allocation of teachers to courses
  • Working with the operations team members and central services to create platform introduction material to make new contractors aware of the “how to’s” of scheduling on our platform, as well as the various online tools featured in our virtual classroom.
  • Proactive email and phone outreach to teachers to communicate necessary service-related improvements and client feedback.
  • Ensuring that the client-facing Teacher profiles are platform compliant.
  • Using platforms like Salesforce, Outlook, Adobe Sign, Constant Contact, Tableau and Microsoft Office
Essential Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in any field, and fluency in English.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills and proficient in MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to change gears quickly and take on a “start-up” attitude to jump in and fix whatever challenge presents itself on our growing team.
  • Customer-focused mindset
  • Sound decision making skills and logical thinking
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to manage different requests
  • Proactive with a team spirit who thrives under pressure
  • Strong Computer, Microsoft Excel, SharePoint skills
  • Fluent in English, additional languages are a plus
Preferred but not required:
  • Recognized EFL qualification with experience as an EFL teacher is a plus
  • Past experience with remote workers and/or independent contractors.
  • Past experience with contract issues and/or Customer Service responsibilities.
