Job Title: Head of sales

Location: Remote (South Africa) | US Time Zone

Salary: R42,000 – R45,000 per month

We’re looking for an experienced and results-driven Head of Sales to lead our customer engagement team and drive exceptional performance. Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategies to achieve key performance metrics and improve customer experience.

Lead, coach, and manage a team of call centre professionals, fostering a positive and results-oriented environment.

Ensure efficient handling of inbound and outbound customer interactions with a focus on quality and resolution.

Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, product) to align initiatives and enhance customer engagement.

Monitor team performance using data-driven insights and adjust workflows to meet operational goals.

Identify training needs and create programs to boost team capabilities and service delivery. Oversee call centre processes, including script creation, escalation management, and reporting.

Track and report on call centre KPIs, presenting insights and recommendations to senior management.

Qualifications: Proven experience leading a call centre or customer service team, with a record of achieving performance goals.

  • Strong leadership and motivational skills with experience in coaching and team development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle escalations effectively.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Skynamo, Fresh Sales) and call centre software.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and optimize workflows.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmnt.
  • Familiarity with the US market and business practices is a plus.

Bonus Points: Experience in scaling call centre teams for high-growth companies.

  • Knowledge of relevant industry trends and service benchmarks.
  • International customer service experience or working with global teams.

Working Hours: US time zone availability required.
