Working Hours: Full-time, UK Timings (12:30 PM IST to 9 PM IST)
Experience: 3 – 4 years
Salary: R19,000 – R25,000 per month

About Us

My Digital Shelf is an entrepreneurial conference research and production company specializing in events, conferences, and media engagements. Our mission is to provide consumer goods brands with effective digital strategies, utilizing a range of tools such as websites, promotions, gamification, analytics, SEO, and targeted brand engagement through events and webinars.

We are looking for an Executive Assistant to support the Company Director. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is organized, proactive, and dedicated to supporting senior leadership. The role is remote-based in South Africa.

Responsibilities

Executive Support

  • Calendar & Travel Management: Efficiently manage the CEO’s schedule, travel arrangements, and day-to-day appointments.
  • Communication Coordination: Act as the primary liaison between the CEO and various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Document Preparation: Prepare and refine important documents, reports, and presentations for the CEO.
  • Task Prioritization: Organize and prioritize incoming tasks and communications to align with the CEO’s strategic goals.

Strategic Social Media Involvement

  • Strategy Implementation: Assist in implementing the CEO’s social media strategy, with a focus on execution rather than content creation.
  • Online Presence Monitoring: Monitor the CEO’s digital interactions to ensure alignment with the company’s vision and goals.

Project Management and Oversight

  • Project Collaboration: Work closely with the CEO to initiate, oversee, and assess projects across various sectors.
  • Due Diligence: Conduct research and analysis to provide insights and recommendations for potential projects.
  • Team Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that project goals, deadlines, and objectives are met.
  • Creative Input: Provide creative ideas and collaborate with various teams on project development.
  • Execution Supervision: Monitor the execution of projects, ensuring they align with the CEO’s vision and strategic goals.

Candidate Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years’ experience in project management, coordination, or executive support, with a solid understanding of industry trends.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (preferred).
  • Skills:
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 and strong attention to detail.
  • Effective under pressure, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Able to work proactively and take ownership of key tasks.
  • Experience with implementing social media strategies is a plus.
