Position Details

Title: Assistant to the Construction Team

Work Hours: Monday-Friday, 8 AM–5 PM EST

Location: Remote

Key Responsibilities

• Inbox Management: Label, archive, and reply to emails across multiple accounts.
• Calendar Management: Schedule meetings, appointments, and inspections.
• Accounting Tasks: Process invoices and manage finances using Sage 100.
• Ad Hoc Tasks: Conduct research, purchase project-related items, and handle miscellaneous tasks as needed.
• Document Administration: File and maintain records of key documents, contracts, and other project materials.
• News Monitoring: Identify and track relevant industry news, blogs, and datasets to monitor investments and trends.

As Needed Responsibilities

• Fully support the construction team on all aspects of construction jobs such as:
• Permit applications using templates
• Support scheduling
• Assist with RFPs
• Coordinate with subcontractors

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of construction-related experience as an assistant.
• Proficiency in Sage 100 for accounting tasks (required).
• Familiarity with construction software (Procore experience preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction drawings.
• High level of English proficiency (written and verbal).
