Wander is a growing fast-paced startup, hiring a full-time Reservationist. You will work remotely, handling booking inquiries and supporting guests staying at luxury vacation rentals across the United States.
You will be part of the Guest Experience team, which is a close-knit bubbly team within Wander. We work hard and often contribute to various side projects within Wander, which will be discussed with your manager. We value kindness, empathy, and love tackling new challenges. Requirements:
- Live in South Africa
- Training for the first few weeks will be from 6AM to 2PM (GMT+2), Monday to Friday
- Permanent schedule will be from 9AM to 5PM (CT), Monday to Friday
- Creative, good critical thinking skills, fast learner, proactive
- Have a well-functioning laptop/PC (the software we use requires a laptop/PC)
- Have stable internet access at home (this job is remote)
- A decent phone (you’ll need to download an international calling app)

- Fluent in the English language (written and spoken)

- Tech-savvy, good with navigating around different platforms
Day-to-day will consist of:
- Handle incoming reservation inquiries via phone, email, and chat messages
- Utilize the reservation system to process and confirm bookings accurately
- Manage changes to reservations, cancellations, and other modifications promptly and efficiently
- Provide excellent guest experience by addressing guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests in a timely and courteous manner
- Solving possibly complex requests from guests with creativity
- Utilizing software such as Notion, Breezeway, Shopify, our internal software (we’ll show you how to use these)
- Doing tasks assigned to you by your manager
