Events and Reservations Coordinator – Wander

We are currently seeking a dynamic and versatile individual to join our team in the combined role of Reservationist and Event Coordinator. This unique position involves managing reservations for our short-term rental properties for individual stays as well as booking events to ensure memorable experiences for our guests. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced team at a rapidly-developing company that will give you visibility into some of the most beautiful locations in the US.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle inquiries and reservations for short-term rental properties through various channels but predominantly voice.
  • Ensure timely and accurate entry of reservation details into the booking system.
  • Provide excellent customer service, guiding guests through the booking process and addressing inquiries promptly.
  • Facilitate payment transactions, manage deposits, and ensure timely processing of payments.
  • Communicate pertinent information to inbound inquiries about the rental of our homes for events. For example weddings.
  • Communicate pertinent information to guests, including stay details, check-in instructions, and property amenities.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries, resolving issues, and offering assistance to enhance their overall experience.
  • Communicate effectively with guests to confirm reservations, provide pre-arrival information, and answer any questions.
  • Work closely with other departments, including housekeeping and property management, to ensure seamless coordination between bookings and property readiness.
  • Enhance guest experiences by identifying opportunities for upselling additional services or amenities.

  • Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate guest inquiries and schedules.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in reservations, hospitality, or customer service roles.
  • Familiarity with reservation management software and online booking platforms.
  • Recent relevant experience (Recent grads welcome)
  • Self-disciplined and able to handle / prioritize multiple tasks independently
  • Team player with ability to think cross-functionally
  • Team player with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.

Compensation:

US Based

  • $40,000 with 5% commission on event revenue (on target earnings $80,000)
